Abstract

The generation of 10GHz triangular, sawtooth, flat-top, sinusoidal and doublet waveforms based on the generation and manipulation of the frequency comb from a continuous-wave laser source by a single-stage dual-drive Mach-Zehnder modulator is experimentally demonstrated. © 2011 The Institution of Engineering and Technology.
