Abstract

Optical parametric oscillators (OPOs) provide broadly tunable laser sources across the near-infrared spectrum and are the preferred choice for multi-photon microscopy, but often have a high cost associated with specialised dielectric mirror coatings. Building on our previous work [1] we present a novel and highly stable OPO cavity using a pair of Brewster Mirror prisms [2], tunable across the 1100–1400 nm wavelength range, with output powers of up to 145 mW.
