UK Engagement Survey 2015: Students' perceptions of skills development

    Research output: Book/ReportCommissioned report

    Abstract

This report explores in detail the results from one particular aspect of this year’s UK Engagement Survey (UKES): students’ feedback on how their skills and abilities have developed. UKES includes 12 items that ask students to reflect on how much their overall student experience has contributed to their knowledge, skills and personal development in a range of different areas, from core academic skills like writing clearly and thinking critically, to broader skills like being an informed and active citizen. They allow us to collect data on students’ own sense that they have grown and developed over the course of their studies.
