Towards high pulse energy Q-switched fiber laser

    Abstract

    The performance of a MoS2-based Q-switched erbium-doped fiber laser operating with different output coupling ratio was studied. Maximum pulse energy of ~0.50 μJ (~peak power ~186 mW) was achieved with high output coupling ratio.
