Time-resolved lif detection of silylene in the IR MPD of ethylsilane

Abstract

Silylene has been observed in the collisionless IR MPD of ethylsilane via LIF. A mechanism for the unimolecular dissociation of ethylsilane which is consistent with known shock-induced dissociation and IR MPD data is advanced. © 1986.
