Time-Correlated Single-Photon Counting Imaging to Locate Fibre-Optic Medical Devices Deep-in-Tissue

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution

Abstract

We demonstrate the potential of time-correlated single-photon-counting (TC-SPC) imaging using single-photon avalanche diode (SPAD) arrays to locate medical de-vices deep in tissues. We locate an otherwise obscured fibre-optic probe using pulsed near-infrared light.
