Abstract

The first example of redox controlled host-guest complexation of a tetrathiafulvalene functionalised self-assembled monolayer with the electron deficient tetracationic cyclophane, cyclobis(paraquat-p-phenylene) is reported. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd.
