Abstract
An analysis of the first 10 years of the Radical Institute Group (RIG). It has had a number of successes, for example, on broadening membership, on education, planing aid and South Africa. However, on a number of issues it has had less success, most notably on the Community Land Act, and a more positive role for planning. RIG remains a minority group within the Institute and so the author concludes by examining some options for the Group's next 10 years.-A.Gilg
