Abstract
This paper presents a method for the determination of the natural frequencies of grillages, which may be skew. It could be used, for example, to find the natural frequencies of a skew road bridge, within the limits of any assumptions taken. The cross girders are assumed to be simply supported between the longitudinals which themselves may be fixed or pinned at their extreme ends. No account is taken, in the present analysis, of torsion in the members. © 1968.
