The multi-resonant Lugiato-Lefever model

Abstract

We introduce a new model describing multiple resonances in Kerr optical cavities. It agrees quantitatively with the Ikeda map and predicts complex phenomena such as super cavity solitons and coexistence of multiple nonlinear states.
