    Abstract

In this paper we introduce and contextualize Animal Assisted Coaching (AAC) as a part of Animal Assisted Interventions (AAI). We argue that the benefits of those interventions often correspond with the core purpose of coaching psychology: enhancing life experience and increasing wellbeing (Palmer & Whybrow, 2007). It is therefore proposed to 1) Include AAC in AAI and Coaching psychology practice, and 2) Specify the areas and benefits of AAC. We conclude the paper with some further issues to be explored.
