Abstract

A reconfigurable log periodic dipole array antenna (LPDA) design is investigated. Switches and high resistive DC bias lines are utilized to achieve the reconfigurable LPDA . Simulation and measurement results of the return loss and gain response are presented, which show promising potential for the implementation of such new reconfigurable antenna designs.
