Abstract

With the technologies going more advance over generations, mobile phones are now an essential for everyone to own. Preschool studies are crucial for young age children as it is where they develop their foundation of several abilities such as thinking, movement, understanding and more. By adopting primary colors (red, blue, and yellow) elements and high contrast graphics in mobile learning application for young age children, they are able to understand and learn the alphabets or words quicker. Also, the application's features which allow the young age users to perform swiping and tapping will motivate them to interact and keep exploring the application. The kids will also be able to learn the accurate pronunciation and have better understanding by utilizing the audio and image assistance of the application. RAD and Quantitative approaches are adopted in this research project, to implement Kiriosity, and make sure it is aligned with the objectives defined. The overall data from preliminary studies showed positive responses from respondents which they think colors and graphics utilization in mobile learning application for young age children is important element, as well as the audio and image assistance will be beneficial for kids to learn. Kiriosity is developed upon the requirements and 4 testing is carried out to make sure the application is well integrated, and able to work as expected. Generally, the UAT results showed optimistic in overall, and the future work recommendations is identified upon end users' suggestions.
