Abstract

The texts of 17 reports presented at a conference held at the University of Bradford, UK, on 9-11 July 1990 are reproduced. There were five sessions: principles of objective measurement technology; application of textile objective measurement to improve sewing performance of garments; fabric sewability and garment manufacture; robotics and automation in garment manufacture; and invited discussion and general conclusions. Abstracts of 15 of the reports are given in this issue of World Textile Abstracts.
