Abstract

The EMT system is a suite of programs implemented on a micro-computer to assist in the administrative and financial control of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. The task of selling tickets for a number of performances once a year, and keeping track of the finances, is complicated by the fact that approximately quarter of a million seats have to be sold on a tight budget by a small but dedicated permanent staff.
