Abstract

Poly(ether-esteramide)s with elastic properties were obtained by a palladium(0)-catalyzed carbonylation of telechelic diamines and aromatic diiodides. Microphase separation was evident from differential scanning calorimetry and scanning electron microscopy studies. Dynamic mechanical analyses revealed a typical rubbery plateau for polymers with suitable hard segments.
