Abstract

The synthesis of methyl 4,7-anhydro-5,6,8-tri-O-benzyl-2,3-dideoxy-D-allo- oct-2-ynoate (2) and its D-altro isomer (5) is reported; the ester (5) reacts with benzyl azide to give two isomeric triazoles (10) and (11).
