Abstract

Reaction of closo-1,6-R2-1,6-C2B6H 6 (R = H or Me) with [Pt(trans-stilbene)L2] (L = PEt 3 or PMe3) affords closo-[L2PtC 2B6H6R2] and nido-[L 2PtC2B6H6R2] complexcomplexes which are structurally characterised by X-ray crystallography.
