Abstract

In this paper, a highlight of recycled materials to be used in construction is done to confirm sustainable construction. The efficiency of using GGBS, Silica Fume, Fly Ash, recycled aggregate, ceramic waste, plastic waste and cold-formed steel is briefly described in terms of sustainability, durability and mechanical properties. In the end, recommendations for the industry to keep supporting research on utilizing these waste materials are made until they are authorized for use in the construction.
