Abstract

A superconducting receive filter and duplexer are described with application in a mobile communications receiver. The design of an 8-pole quasi-elliptic filter is outlined, and the filter performance given. In addition, the design of an associated superconducting duplexer is discussed together with appropriate measurements. The components are for a DCS 1800 base station.
