Abstract

If G1,...,Gn are limit groups and S ? G1 ×...×Gn is of type FPn(Q{double-struck}) then S contains a subgroup of finite index that is itself a direct product of at most n limit groups. This answers a question of Sela. © Copyright 2009 Annals of Mathematics. All rights reserved.
