Abstract
Recently, a novel class of circular polarization selective surface (CPSS) has been proposed, composed of two planar metallodielectric arrays of split ring resonators (SRR). The coupling between the two arrays is a key factor that defines the performance of the CPSS. Here we present a study of the coupling between two planar SRR arrays for various geometrical parameters and discuss their impact on CPSS performance.
