Abstract
The results of a study on the effect of remoulding, stress-history, cyclic strain amplitude and number of cycles on the cyclic secant modulus degradation of weathered Keuper Marl, a calcareous mudstone formed mainly from clay minerals, are presented. The research is based on a series of monotonic and low frequency undrained strain-controlled cyclic triaxial tests on undisturbed and reconstituted specimens with overconsolidation ratios 1 to 30. -from Authors
