Abstract

The importance of Coulomb correlations to the non-resonant optical Stark effect is demonstrated for a range of ZnSe-based quantum wells by studying the Stark shift dependence on pump detuning in polarization selective pump-continuum probe experiments. © 2003 Optical Society of America.
