Abstract

A new sidewall waveguide slot radiator is described which produced negligible crosspolar radiation fields. This is achieved by employing a noninclined slot inserted into the sidewall of a bifurcated waveguide feed system. The edge slot is excited parasitically by an axially directed septum slot.
