Scattering analysis of a waveguide slot radiator enclosed in a parallel plate polarizer

Abstract

The moment method of analysis as applied to conventional broadwall slot radiators in rectangular waveguide has been extended to accommodate the presence of an external parallel plate polarizer. This has been achieved by imaging the half space Green's function, which is used in the conventional analysis, in the `perfectly' conducting parallel planes. The results obtained are shown to be in good agreement with vector network analyzer measurements on typical geometries.
