Abstract

A new pre-FFT synchronisation method for OFDM is proposed and assessed, which gives improved performance in multipath channels. The technique can be used for a range of OFDM signal parameters, and channel environments. The relative increase in complexity over existing correlation-based methods is less than 10%.
