Abstract

The sawing and polishing process of the ornamental stones generates large amount of wastes, which with no doubt pollute the environment. Therefore, this work aims to characterize and evaluate the possibilities of using both the solid "rejects" and wet "Sahala" wastes in Shak Al-Thoaban area for quicklime production.
