Abstract

An undulator free-electron-laser experiment (U-FEL) is under way at the ENEA-Frascati Center. The U-FEL employs a 20 MeV microtron as electron-beam source and operates in the middle infrared region around 30 µm. Recent results on the spontaneous-emission measurements are discussed. © 1990.
