Abstract

We describe an improved instrument for measuring video-rate second-harmonic frequency-resolved optical gating traces of femtosecond pulses. The system enables exact pulse profiles to be viewed in real time with typical refresh rates of 1 Hz. © 2000 Optical Society of America.
