Abstract

Reaction of closo-2,4-Me2-2,4-C2B5H 5 with [Co(PEt3)4] affords a novel dicobalthydrido-complex containing a phosphido-bridge, whereas [Fe(CNBu t;)5] reacts to form a mononuclear 8-atom cage, in which the iron atom has a cluster connectivity of five.
