Abstract

A new approach to wideband re-configurable antennas using RF MEMS switches is presented here. Several antenna configurations can be connected together using RF MEMS switches. The goal is to cover several frequency bands by using a smart combination of antennas, including fractal antennas. The analysis and design principles are discussed and presented in here.
