Abstract
We consider one-loop corrections to the scattering of charged spinor and scalar particles in topologically massive quantum electrodynamics. In the non-relativistic and large topological mass (anyon) limit we find that one-loop corrections can all be attributed to the renormalization of the charge, mass, and statistics parameters, and the induced magnetic moment arising from the fractional spin of the anyons. We discuss the consequences of these results on anyon dynamics and the implications of this for a non-renormalization theorem for pure Chern-Simons theory.
