Abstract
An Okada junction circulator whose terminals are compatible with the use of evanescent mode filter circuits is described. It is realised by symmetrically restricting the opening of the junction formed by the waveguides using thick metal vanes. The paper gives some experimental data on the split frequencies and quality factor on such a 2-chamber resonator in a WR 137 waveguide. © IEE, 1998.
