Abstract

Tetrakis(tetrahydrofuran)lithium tetrakis(2,6-dimethylphenyl)lutetiate has been prepared; a single-crystal X-ray study has shown that the anion consists of four 2,6-dimethylphenyl groups in an approximately tetrahedral σ-bonded array about lutetium.
