Abstract

This newsletter shares updates from the Place-Making with Older Adults: Towards Age-Friendly Communities project, supporting policymakers in developing age-inclusive public policies. It highlights key findings, activities and practical contributions aimed at improving cities for people of all ages. Funded by the UK’s Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) (£808,289), the project is a partnership between Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh, UK) and the Federal University of Pelotas (Brazil). It ran from May 2016 to April 2019.
