Abstract

The pattern reconfigurable technique can achieve multiple directed radiation patterns within the same radiation aperture, so it is widely used in scanning arrays, especially for wide-angle scanning. The University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and Heriot-Watt University have been collaborating on the above research topics with interesting results. This paper will first review the research process of both parties, then introduce some important results, and finally put forward the prospects of the next stage of work.
