Abstract

Volume 1 of the Sustainability Handbook series covers the substantial innovation aspects of sustainability. This includes major advances in sustainability strategy, core competitive sustainability capabilities, and a sustainability service construct and customer value proposition. All aspects are covered to use the substantial sustainability innovation to create a greenfield and blue ocean for your organization. In Part V, we discussed the concepts of developing a substantial innovation strategy to clearly define and structure the set of goals and objectives and everything in between needed for an organization to succeed with their substantial innovation projects. To support the development and the execution of such an innovation strategy, we thereby introduced the sustainability roadmap as a practical hands-on set of tools to guide you on your way, and to then develop, define, and implement a powerful and long-lasting continuous sustainability improvement process for you to use in order to uphold and maintain the successes that you harvest on your substantial innovation journey.
