Abstract

Organopalladium complexes derived from 2-(bromomethyl)benzenemethanol, 2- bromo- and iodobenzenemethanols and 2-iodobenzeneethanol are efficient catalysts for the reaction of carbon monoxide and arylmethyl halides leading to arylacetic acids and esters. © 2005 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
