Abstract
We report the bistable switching of a 200 µm thick InSb Fabry-Perot resonator, using a single 30 ps switched-out pulse from a Nd:YAG mode-locked laser. The device has been made to act as an 'optical memory', and, by splitting and delaying one part of the pulse, as an 'optical AND gate'. © 1983.
