Abstract

The optical constants of Cr, Co, Fe, Ni, Mo, and Pt at 295°K have been measured ellipsometrically in the wavelength range 12-24/smm. In the region of Anomolous Skin Effect (ASE) the electrons are found to be diffusely reflected at the metal surface. Values for the parameter e₃ proportional to the carrier concentration in the ASE regime are presented for each metal. © 1977.
