Abstract
Cloud Computing has been on the rise with the advent of Internet of Things and the whole Big Data revolution. There a numerous Cloud Computing Service Providers to choose from. However, the major concern of Cloud Computing is the Security and Privacy issues. In this paper, we classify the security issues based on traditional and non-traditional problems. The non-traditional security problems in Cloud Computing are mainly due to the new features of Cloud Computing such as virtualization, resource sharing and multi tenancy. We present the operational requirements of NIST's Cloud Computing architecture on a platform level to understand the importance of a strong key exchange management system that could solve many of the security issues facing Cloud Computing. We finally discuss a number of data storage issues and architectures proposed.
