Abstract

Stability of composite with arbitrary laminated structure and cracks between layers was discussed. The exact statement of the plane problem was formulated for cases of compressible and incompressible, elastic and elastoplastic, orthotropic layers under compression of 'dead' loads along cracks. Analysis of designed schemes depending on the ratio between the layer thickness and the crack length was carried out. Macrocracks, structural cracks and microcracks were differentiated in the course of analysis. Approximate evaluation of critical loading parameters was offered for composites with cracks between layers.
