Abstract
Using local bifurcation and path following methods, we examine the change in bifurcation diagrams of stationary solutions to the one-dimensional Cahn-Hilliard equation (with no-flux boundary conditions) as the mass constraint is varied. This gives a partial picture of the transition between the spinodal decomposition and the nucleation regimes. © 1989.
