Non-perturbative calculations of excitonic complexes in quantum dots

Abstract

Using path-integral quantum Monte Carlo, the energy of charged excitons and biexcitons is calculated for various quantum dot quantization energies. Results show good agreement with measured values in contrast with a first-order perturbation approach. © 2006 Optical Society of America.
