Abstract

Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) is a scalable manufacturing process. PVD is also economical for manufacturing cost per unit article and is often considered a green process compared to most other material synthesis protocols. We are pioneering ONE-STEP synthesis of nanoscale
material design where we have full control over morphological features, such as layer thickness, number of layers, in-situ doping of nanoparticles in an amorphous matrix, and likewise, the amount, size, distribution and embedding depth of nanoparticles. Such unique nanoscale material design helps regulate the electrochemical process with the addition of anti-corrosion features.
