Multiple Parallel Pipe Siphonic Rainwater Collection System

David Campbell (Inventor)

Research output: Patent

Abstract

The present invention utilises a cluster of small doameter siphone with staggered entry levels such that siphonage is sequentially initiated in building drainage systems, and in particular siphonic drainage systems.

The present invention can be retrofitted to any pipe or collection of pipes in a drainage system, except those in a concentric arrangement.

The present invention encourages rainfall flow to start and stop abruptly at certain predetermined points rather than have the rainfall flow tail off, which causes noise.

The novel Arrangement is immune to oversizing problems and can be extended as required.
