Round-ended slot radiators in waveguides remain difficult to analyse accurately using conventional techniques because these are, in general, incapable of accommodating other than square-ended slot models. This paper shows that a sectional-slot model can provide some improvement in theoretical performance for the moment method analysis of such slots.
