Abstract

This paper presents a novel folded-waveguide resonator with about 75 % reduction of the volume from conventional size. For comparison, two types of folded waveguide resonators have been studied, i.e. the quarter-wavelength resonator of square shape and the newly proposed triangular shape. The paper also demonstrates a filter application of miniature triangular folded-waveguide resonators. © 2007 EuMA.
