Abstract

Microstrip/coplanar waveguide (CPW) hybrid bandpass filter with electromagnetic (EM) coupling has been developed, and a hybrid tri-band bandpass filter has been proposed. For each passband, the filter center frequency can be easily controlled, and the bandwidth can be adjusted. The hybrid bandpass filters have simple topologies, high frequency selectivity, and multiple passbands. The tri-band filter has been fabricated and measured, and the design has been demonstrated.
